Ravin Crossbows, working in conjunction with the Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC) has issued the following statement about an upcoming voluntary recall of certain models of their crossbows in the R500 series. Crossbow Magazine has been in direct contact with Ravin Crossbows and urges any owner of an R500 series crossbow to immediately register the product with Ravin’s Product Registration process. Ravin management feels this will be the most efficient means to allow Ravin to determine if your particular crossbow is affected, and to be able to issue instructions directly to the user to address the recall.
